DESCRIPTION
Anwar is a 2007 romantic thriller film written and directed by Manish Jha, who is famous for his work in Matrubhoomi. The film stars Siddharth Koirala, Manisha Koirala, Rajpal Yadav and Nauheed Cyrusi.
Anwar, a middle-class Muslim, falls in love with Mehru, a Hindu girl. Post her death, he is caught by the police and a misunderstanding leads them to believe that he is a terrorist.
The music is composed by Mithoon and Pankaj Awasthi. Maula Mere Maula & Tose Naina were huge hits.
