DESCRIPTION
Dastaan is a 1972 film produced and directed by B. R. Chopra. The film stars Dilip Kumar, Sharmila Tagore in the main lead. This movie is based on a 1951 film named Afsana, starring Ashok Kumar in a leading role.
Vishnu, a reputed judge, is assumed to be Anil, an absconding murderer. However, he decides to travel to Anil's home town and unravel the mystery behind his look alike's existence.
The songs were sung by Mohammad Rafi, Asha Bhosle and Mahendra Kapoor.
