Sachin is a regular guy of 22 year old engineering graduate from a middle class family in Mumbai.Sachin and his Hindu Bramhin family rent the apartment to Malayali Christian family. When Sachin meets Jessie he falla in love with her. But Jessie does not want a romantic relationship but would prefer friendship. Their family were arranging her marriage elsewhere. Two years later while he was shooting for the film in Taj Mahal, he sees Jessie and she comes to speak with him. She admits to Sachin that she is not married and is still in love with him. Sachin proposes yet again and they get happily married.
