DESCRIPTION
Kabuliwala is a 1961 Hindi film based on the 1892 short story "Kabuliwala", by the Bengali writer Rabindranath Tagore. It started Balraj Sahni as Abdul Rehman Khan and Sonu as Mini.
Rehman, an Afghani dry fruit seller, befriends Mini, who reminds him of his own daughter. However, his life changes after he is sentenced to 10 years of imprisonment on charges of murdering a man.
The music of this movie was given by Salil Choudhury and lyrics by Prem Dhawan and Gulzar.
