ALBUM - Murder

Murder is a 2004 erotic romantic thriller film, directed by Anurag Basu and produced by Mukesh Bhatt. It is the first installment in the Murder film series. It stars Emraan Hashmi, Ashmit Patel and Mallika Sherawat in the lead roles and is set in Bangkok, Thailand. This film is based on the 2002 American film Unfaithful, which itself was also inspired by a French film The Unfaithful Wife (1969).

 

Simran is a lonely housewife who bumps into Sunny, her lover from her past, and the two get into a torrid affair. But when her husband finds out, he plans to end the affair as quickly as it began.

 

According to the Indian trade website Box Office India, with around 22,00,000 units sold, this film's soundtrack album was the year's fourth highest-selling.
